In Irish Dance, the hair is worn in a curled style. Lucky for you, you have 2 options on how to get the look.
You can:
七url it with curlers
上ear a wig
They're both pretty easy to do, but one takes time, and the other costs money.
PUTTING ON A WIG:
It's acutally not that hard!! My favorite type of wig is with the combs inside the cap. They are very easy to use. Some people in my school recommend clip-on wigs a.k.a "Banana Comb wigs."
刀y Recommendations:
七eltic Creations- sells ringlet wigs with the inner comb.UPSIDES: I got my wig from here...prompt delivery, matches my highlighted hair PERFECTLY. I couldn't find a better match! DOWNSIDES: Takes about 4 minutes to put on once you're an old pro. You need bobby pins to keep it in place.

儿rish Wigs- sells Banana Comb wigs. Lots of girls in my school had/have these wigs. UPSIDES: They are lightweight, and take a second to put on. My friends from dance like them a lot. DOWNSIDES: They get frizzy very easily. You have to also be sure you clip it on securely, because otherwise your wig will fly off!

七eltic Daughters- sells both kinds of wigs, but mainly focuses on ringlet wigs thanks to me! :) (They loved my wig)
Pearl and Maureen are based in Massachusetts, USA, but they have a website if you live far away. UPSIDES: They are at most of the New England feisanna, so if you need help with your wig, left your wig at home, need a new one, whatever...they're happy to help you! The wigs they sell are gorgeous...very bouncy, curly, and not really expensive either! I believe it's around $60 for a full head wig and only $5 for a curly scrunchie. DOWNSIDE: Since they travel around, you might not find a perfect match if you have highlighted hair like me.

To put on a ringlet wig:
1.Put your hair in a high bun. If you have shorter hair, then put your hair half-up, half-down, and put both halves in buns.
2.Slide the wig on. One comb goes on the bottom, the other on the top, remember.
3.Adjust it until it looks right.
4.Slide bobby pins around the rim. I like to pin every 2 inches. Once you think it's secure, shake your head. If the wig still feels secure, add your crown and pop on a hairnet. If not, add more bobby pins.
Banana Comb Wigs
1.Step one from above
2.Open the comb, put it over the bun, and snap into place.
3.If you want to feel extra-secure, slide in a few bobby pins.
4.Put on your crown, hairnet, and go!

How To Curl
The dancer should wear a tank top for easy removal in the morning.
First, squeeze some gel into a bowl, and find a small tooth comb. Put that aside.
Brush the dancer's hair into a half-up, half-down style, or if your school wants it all up, do it that way. Check first!
Dip the small-tooth comb into the gel, and brush a 1-inch section of hair. Wrap the curlpaper around the bottom of the hair, and roll the hair up with the curler. Repeat until all the hair is curled.
Spray lightly with hairspray, and put on a hairnet to keep the curls safe until tomorrow.
Keep the curlers in until you get to the feis. When you get there, slide the curlers out gently. You may want to add life to limp curls by twirling them around your finger. Add a touch of hairspray, and put on the crown. Remember to bring a Zip-Lock bag to keep the curlers in!
